When you rest head on pillow tonight, let go of all the day’s frustrations and annoyances and follow your heart to a sandy beach graced by the light of a harvest moon. The light cast is bright enough to make the sand glisten and twenty feet away I stand, feet wet from the gentle foamy surf, holding an apple-tini in outstretched hand. I smile as you do in return, accepting the cold glass. I feel the tension leave your neck and shoulders as I softly message. We have little need for words as the scenery and loving touch of hand to skin say it all. You turn to face me, wrap arms around my waist, and lay your head against my chest. I hold you and whisper love you’s as we stand alone in that golden October light.
