Tonight it is a simple walk. As it is a dream and we are spirits without limitation, we take turns imagining a path, and like Merlin granting wish, it lay before our feet. Ladies first, even in this world, and you smile and point to miles of surf and sand that stretch ahead. We stay on the cool firm pack where ocean travels in and out in rhythms so ancient that no clock of man chimed when first it began. It feels good beneath our toes, which have been in woolen cocoons since winter’s first bite. Gulls glide beside us and voice their opinions in familiar caws. Crabs scurry to find safe haven as the retreating wash reveals their presence. Your vision was of a setting sun, and to our right, purples fade to pink, reds fade to orange and gold, and ocean blue reflects all that glows above. The breeze is steady, warm, and pleasant to pass through. The scent of salt and wave fills each breath we take as we tread, hand touching hand, toward a distant pier whose lights twinkle as the last of day gives way to twilight. Music plays from a faraway pavilion, as your beautiful mind left no detail behind. When we’ve traveled quite some way, you look at me as if to say, “you’re turn now”, and in return I say I can’t imagine a better walk and beg that please we stay.
Hmm it looks like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess
I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say,
I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing.
Do you have any tips for rookie blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.
So sorry I’m tardy in responding…webpage issues…bloody hell. I reckon I sound like a Harry Potter extra. No real tips, I’d only say follow what the author of all things has put in your heart.
Thanks,
Michael B.

Superb blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m a
little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option?
There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused
.. Any suggestions? Appreciate it!
I totally sympathize. When I began my journey to create a webpage I experienced what you describe–so much to learn. As cliché as it sounds, I took one step at a time. I eventually chose WordPress and the Avada theme. And don’t forget security, I was hacked…I now use Wordfence. I was able to cobble this site together and you can too. All the tech challenges can be distracting, but don’t stop writing!
